There were 7 teams that met to try to get out of the GOR. 7 separate legal teams. Only 2 tried to make it out (to date). I think that is bc 5 other legal teams basically said this was unlikely to be successful. We are seeing with FSU that it is extremely challenging and slow going.

So, Clemson is trying *anything* they can think of to try to get out. These arguments are the best they can put forward.
I think UNC may be the only other one that really really wants to get out (maybe taking UVa with them, though I could also see maybe Dook). I'm assuming they're saving their money to see what happens with Clemson and FSU first. I just read the University is conducting an audit of the Athletic Department so maybe they're also going to wait for that to finish...
