How to watch the Cal v. Montana State men's college basketball game
The California Golden Bears (2-1) have been playing basketball with a vengeance.
Last week, the Golden Bears earned a convincing 20-point victory over Cal State Bakersfield, behind convincing play from all five of its starting players. All five starters scored double digits, including Jalen Cone, who contributed a game-high 23 points, including 21 points from behind the three-point arc.
Now, California faces the Montana State Bobcats (1-1) in only the third game in the series. The last time the two schools faced off was in 1984 and 1985, and the Golden Bears won both matches in the back-to-back college basketball seasons.
Meanwhile, the visiting Bobcats will look to bounce back against a close three-point defeat to the Seattle University last Saturday. Montana State trailed for nine points in the last five minutes and missed a potential game-winning three-pointer in the final two seconds of game time. Seattle then drained a pair of free throws to put the tight game to bed.
The Cal v. Montana State game is the last of a four-game home stretch before the Golden Bears travel to The Pavilion in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., for the SoCal Challenge tournament next week.
