The California Golden Bears (1-1) are back in Strawberry Canyon after a successful trip to Syracuse last week, where they secured their first win in New York state since 1973.
The Golden Bears host the Wagner College Seahawks (1-2) on Saturday in the team’s second back-to-back match-up against a team from New York this season.
The visiting Seahawks, who compete in the Football Championship Subdivision’s Northeast Conference, are 1-2 this season, following an 87-3 loss to the Sun Belt Conference’s James Madison.
