The California Golden Bears (1-1) are back in Strawberry Canyon after a successful trip to Syracuse last week, where they secured their first win in New York state since 1973.
Honestly? It doesn't. This is the ACC-controlled slate for the week:
Syracuse-Pitt (Thursday) - ESPN
Miami-Wake Forest (Friday) - ESPN
UNC-Clemson - ESPN
SMU-Louisville - ESPN2
Stanford-Duke - CW
Mercer-GT - ACCN
West Virginia-Virginia - ACCN
Maine-BC - ACCN+ (streaming only)
The only other game to put on ACC Network would have been Maine at Boston College, which actually is a worse matchup than ours because no one thinks BC is will be good. Cal at least has JKS.
We’re spreading out our games on different days, times and networks. Imagine that old PAC 12 network, getting your product out there for the fans and the exposure.
These kinds of games piss me off. I always root for the small school and hope they kick the big school in the teeth. I know WHY these games are scheduled but it really sucks. No one will ever respect Cal for pummeling Wagner
