When he played I loved watching him on defense as he reminded me of Jorge at times. But he never showed a rounded game. If he has been having academic trouble, we can all sympathize. I just hope he gets his degree from a good place that will help open doors for him in life, like Cal does. I can't count the number of times I've gotten interviews because...Cal.

I wonder if JHD could've been an impact player with better luck and better circumstances. He could really get to the basket when healthy, but the finishing wasn't there and there wasn't much offensive structure either. More on this tommorrow, but if I had confidence that the open scholarship would be put to good use . . .

I’m not gonna good because obviously you don’t want to see kids be put in this type of predicament but man was this dude the definition of underwhelming. He is a poor mans Andre Igoudala and barely at that seeing as his offensive ineptitude doesn’t balance out with his slightly above average defense I mean seriously this man blew how many open layups for god knows what reason.

*insert Stephen A Smith he’s a scrub he can’t play meme here

But I seriously hope he finds what he needs and go seizes his opportunity to the fullest.

Not surprising. Best wishes to JHD but it doesn't really change the outlook much for 2020 season.
