Awesome. Short of an unprecedented miracle season, the best we could have hoped for was exactly what Madsen did. He reinvigorated an apathetic fan and donor base and created some buzz around the program. He had Haas absolutely rocking for a few games this past season when the season before that it was a mausoleum with 500 people in attendance.
I stayed through the mausoleum years as a season ticket holder and it was horrible. Madsen has been a breath of fresh year. If he could at least duplicate what Montgomery did, that would be great.
Agreed. Coach is such a high quality individual…the tenor of the program/staff is just night and day different from the previous 6 years…so much more positive.
Following up on my comment the other day (re Rich Lyons), I'm glad Madsen didn't enter the portal after one year. He's the right guy at the right time.
In this day and age, this coach speak is mostly untrusted.
With Madsen, I totally believe & trust him. His momma will be on soon to verify. ; )
