Pretty sure USC will be an offensive-minded team and so I'm more upset about them landing Brenden Rice (not to mention all the Oklahoma transfers), but Blackmon is still a better corner than anyone that played for USC last year. Colorado lost their top corner, Christian Gonzalez, to Oregon. Looks like the end of the Pac-12 Parity Era here with a lot of top talent coalescing on the top teams.

At least the PAC 12 doesn't have anything comparable to Texas AM.....yet. Texas AM just reeled in 7 five-stars for the highest rated recruiting class of all time. Would love to see the NIL money shelled out there when it's all over. It's going to ruin college football as we know it unless the NCAA wakes up and reverses course.

I honestly think that money has always changed hands at those types of schools, there's just less need to hide it these days, so I don't really think the NIL stuff is going to change all that much in the college landscape. The blue chip programs will shell out money either way. Personally, I'm more concerned with the way the playoffs funnel NFL hopefuls to the same few teams, and I think the selection committee is having a worse impact on college football.

To the extend the talent coalesces even more to the top, maybe that is a good thing as it will provide urgency to break those teams off into their own minor league. Perhaps this creates parity among the rest of the CFB teams who can compete and play with similar resources at their disposal.

I heard they have a $40m NIL budget and can go to $100m if needed. UFB if true.

Hope he enjoys losing to us next year! ;-)
