Men's Basketball Secures Commitment from PF Nicolas Mitrovic
The 4-star Top 50 recruit chooses Cal over Seton Hall, UNLV and several others
Cal has landed an impact player as early as next year, as Nicolas Mitrovic has committed to joining the Golden Bears. The 7’ 0” Power Forward from Braintree, MA is a Top 50 recruit per Rivals, a top 80 recruit on 247Sports rankings. Originally slated to be eligible in 2027, Mitrovic is re-classifying to have eligibility starting this fall.

The tape of Mitrovic shows a lanky 7-footer who shows reasonable ball handling and shooting abilities for someone of his stature. On choosing Cal, Mitrovic said;
“I chose Cal because it felt like the best place for me. I wanted a place that would push me everyday and Cal gives that competitive environment where I will be able to grow. I clicked with the coaches right away.”
Nicolas joins SF Dionycius Bakare in the incoming class. With six graduating seniors, Cal has several spots left to fill before next fall.
Welcome to Berkeley, Nicolas!
