Multiple Cal Football seniors announce their return for final year of eligibility

Experience and depth.

Despite the losses of established starters to the NFL Draft, many seniors and some surprise players have opted to return to play in Berkeley for one last season.

So far LB Cam Goode, DB Josh Drayden, and RB Marcel Dancy have all elected to return for the 2021 season. While WR Jeremiah Hawkins and OL Poutasi Poutasi have announced their decision to grad transfer.

These players have all announced their decision to return and play in Berkeley over the last few days. Other players had already announced their intention to return over the last few months, which included LB Kuony Deng, DB Elijah Hicks, and OL Mike Saffell. It remains to be seen which of the remaining seniors and opt-out players will return for the 2021 season.
