The final day of the NFL draft is underway, and we’re hopeful that at least a few Golden Bears get picked. Here are the Bears most likely to be drafted:
Outside linebacker Cameron Goode: Goode is the most athletic Bear available and figures to get a shot on a team in need of versatile linebacking talent.
Safety Elijah Hicks: Can Hicks join Cam Bynum, Jaylinn Hawkins and Ashtyn Davis in to the tradition of Takers making the NFL leap?
Tight end Jake Tonges: Tonges has great pass-catching and blocking skills that translate well to the next level.
Regardless, the undrafted free agent market heats up soon after the draft ends. Here are all the Bears who have made themselves available for consideration.
Defensive lineman Luc Bequette: Can the super super senior get a shot at the next level?
Linebacker Marqez Bimage: Bimage was one of Cal’s best defenders in 2021.
Wide receiver Trevon Clark: Clark was Cal’s deep threat this past season and had some amazing moments against Stanford and TCU.
Wide receiver Kekoa Crawford: Crawford was a stable and steady presence for the Bears offense, piling up 40 catches.
Offensive lineman Valentino Daltoso: Daltoso became one of Cal’s most reliable offensive faces, starting at four different positions 10 to 12 times!
Running back Marcel Dancy: Dancy was a solid contributor during his time with the Bears, instrumental in several key wins like the 2019 Washington thunderdome.
Linebacker Kuony Deng: Injuries ended Deng’s final campaign with the Bears prematurely, but there’s no denying Deng’s talent. Is this his time?
Nickel Josh Drayden: The other last key member of the original Takers Drayden found his niche in a position that is more valuable than ever in the league.
Quarterback Chase Garbers: Will one of the most successful quarterbacks in Cal history get his shot to join a heralded tradition of Cal QBs in the NFL?

Seems like a boring draft this year.
I think Goode will be drafted in the 6th.
