Sheesh, I thought dropping mentions of "editorial integrity" and "can I speak to the manager" made it clear that my comment was tongue-in-cheek. Hey, next time, if I say I am cancelling my WFC subscription and demanding a refund, will that make it obvious! :)
They’ve cited a Democrat on all the other stories ive read (when they’ve cited elected officials). I prefer politics out of the stories, and would rather they call Kevin Kiley when they want the comment of someone in the state legislature, but in this case it seemed like a logic inclusion in the story
I believe it is an anomaly in California to have a public health department at the city level as this is usually a county function. Since it does, and since UC Berkeley is in the city limits, I believe only City of Berkeley has authority on this issue.

Also, Trump mention, really? Where is the editorial integrity and can I please speak to the manager?
CA allowing sports to happen (at any level) is politics, why is mentioning the president talking to the pac12 about it upset you so? lol
