Pac refs back to their early days, where if you breathe on a ball handler, you get whistled.

Very nice start. Let’s keep the pedal to the metal tho because iron unkind early to ‘Furd. Be nice to build a solid lead here.

yes, great start, but I'm troubled by the turnovers. Box says only 4, but I swear that we had three on 3 possessions.

Cone & Aimac need to be careful with the reach-ins.

Great start for Cal, out 13-4 early. Jalen Cone 2/2 from deep, he is due for a big game.

If you have the chance, please catch UW Coach Hopkins' postgame comments. Just a class act and emotional between him, Keion, and the audience when he was asked about "what happens next".

Missed that so far. I did see the announcers for the Pac12 Swimming and Diving championship get a little emotional. Partly it was personal; it’s the end of their jobs.

not much to say about UCLA over OSU. The better team top to bottom won the game.

USC advances, beating UW 80-74. Ellies with 25 and Collier with 13 points and 7 assists. They are the engine that will determine ho far USC goes.

Because the conference was so up and down this year there are some TALENTED teams in the bottom with some bad matchups. The UW/SC Game, the Utah/ASU game are high on upset alert in my book. With a darkhorse game being the UCLA/OregonState one

UCLA and Utah are only favored by 5.5. Stanford is favored by 1.5. All games will be competitive.

Surprised Stanford is favored. This team has been preparing for this tourney for three months. We are most definitely not likely to make it all the way through, but barring a eve-of-the-2016-NCAA-tourney barrage of coaching infidelities and injuries two 2/5 of our starting roster, I don't see a scenario that doesn't get us past tonight. That's my stone cold lock!

UW totally outplaying USC early on. 19-10. Brooks has not scored yet, it's been Wheeler and Johnson.

USC is keying on Brooks, everyone else is doing more than enough.

I'm in Vegas and will be posting in here throughout the day (except during Cal's game). some early observations;

1. There are SO MANY Arizona fans.

2. Talked to a UW staffer. Everyone really really liked Hopkins, staff and players. Genuine sadness in having to let him go.

3. A drunk St Mary's mom (they won WCC last night) started talking politics with me at the pai gow table, then got visibly angry with me when I indicated I don't vote as she does.

4. Loving the "PAC-2" shirts some people are wearing. They are NOT on sale at the merchandise booth.

Hopkins started off hot. Seemed like a slam dunk in Year 1.
