Pass pro looked good and I don’t think JKS was sacked. How were the o line grades that bad? Also surprised trond isn’t higher he seems to win all the high point 50-50 balls.
Berkelium, if you don't mind sharing, what tool are you using to generate your awesome story lead images. I could look at a gallery of them all day.
I though at first they might be Shutterstock images, but I can't (readily) find them there, and they are too situationally perfect to have been randomly generated in advance. Would love to use it for situationally relevant content.
I use substack's AI image generator. After using it consistently, I've grown to appreciate consistent the stylistic elements when I prompt it. That consistency is useful when making them for a regular series like this.
This one was prompted with something like "psychedelic cartoon bear with eagle"
Always interesting reading these posts. Seemed like more of a rockfight to me. I loved how we came back after the tough start and I like the stress of these close games, when we win. Seemed like the OL did a good job of protection and run blocking overall. Except on those pesky must have short yardage downs. Our receivers caught their passes. Pass defense was pretty good. The defense is having more trouble than usual with stopping the run game. Damn. Looking forward to being at the Duke game. We are underdogs. Perfect. We will need a full house to support the team! Go Bears!
We used to win Rockfights with regularity, but we're on a 6-game losing streak in Rockfights. The last win was the 2022 UC Davis game (and it's saying something that we were drawn into a rockfight against an FCS team).
All Cal games are rockfights, its just some are fights with pillowcases full of rocks, some are boulder lobbing contests, some end well, and some decidedly not. And quite a few are bizarre rockfights. But always entertaining.
It sure as heck seemed like we lost all of the close ones last season, because we did. I am really enjoying this season because of Jaron Keawa Sagapolutele. He is so good he is bringing up the play of the rest of team. I think having Rolovich coaching him is a big help to developing his talents. The Hawaiian connection is strong. This team is a work in progress, Harsin is a good coach. I think we will win a few more rock fights. Not sure about this Duke game coming up. Those guys look pretty good.
I really enjoy these posts. Thank you.

I was also thinking rockfight all game long. But for once we won a rockfight. It seems we always lose them (though probably not remotely true)
