For the second straight major, Collin Morikawa has a good shot at his third major. He nailed five birdies in a row near the end of the second round to situate him at 11-under, one back of the lead, alone in second place at Riviera in the PGA Championship.
He currently is in the final group today with Xander Schauffele -12 and Sahith Theegala -10. Their group is set to tee off at 10:40 am. Coverage is on CBS, with a simulcast on Paramount at 10 am.
Currently on the course is Max Homa and Byeong Hun An, who came into the weekend at -4 each.
Interesting story about Schauffele getting arrested. Apparently tried to get past an accident and was accused to dragging a deputy. But he was out after a few hours. Maybe it helped him focus.
Thanks for the correction!

It wasn't Schauffele who was arrested. It was Scheffler. Big difference.
