HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF RECRUITING SEAN TO CAL OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. SEAN CAME FROM A SINGLE PARENT FAMILY WHERE HIS MOTHER NURTURED HIS ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT AT HOMESTEAD HS....SHE WAS A VERY TALENTED PERSON IN HER OWN RIGHT. SEAN CARRIED HIMSELF WITH HUMILITY AND BROUGHT A TERRIFIC SMILE TO HIS PERSONALITY. A PRODUCTIVE CAL FOOTBALL PLAYER WHO WAS AN EVEN BETTER TEAMMATE

Can it get any lower right now for our beloved Golden Bears?

Loved Dawkins growing up as a kid in Berkeley. Those teams were so gratifying to watch after so much losing.

He was one of the Bears I loved watching as a kid in Memorial. Such a loss.

RIP Mr. Dawkins. Loved your playing days at Cal and you are forever a Bear. Bear heaven is a very special place where the Bears get to walk around going pee on trees whenever they like.

Watched him in almost all his games at Cal. He was a spectacular wide receiver and one of Cal’s all time greats. The utter ineptitude of Cal’s Administration and the disintegration of the PAC-12

probably broke his damn heart!

Sorry he had to witness the disgusting display of arrogance, ignorance and complete incompetence by Knowlton, Christ and the rest of Cal’s egg headed Administrators, including the Board of Regents, before he left us. Rest in Peace Sean.

Very sad news. He was on the team that went 10-2 under Snyder. Pawlawski was the QB, with White at RB. What a sweet team that was.

So sad to hear about this. Such a great season. I went to many of those games and met him once when he was dating someone in my co-op.

I loved to watching this guy play while I was attending Berkeley in the early 90’s.

His play and those teams sparked my love of Cal football that lasts until this day, always hoping for a return to those glory days.

Way too soon.
