Did Vrabel hire Wilcox to run the offense? That was pathetic. Granted, Seattle’s defense is elite but do something to help out your own defense!

I was thinking the same thing. Patriots offensive coordinator was offensive. Never adjusted to the CB’s repeated blitzes or the pressure from Seattle’s front 4 (which was intense). No quick passes over the middle. No screens. No designed QB runs to take advantage of the gaps created by the all out pass rush of the front 4. Patriots finally did so but not into 4th quarter and they were down by 20. Mind boggling stupidity and failure to adjust to the actual game right in front of you. The repeated failure reminded me of Cal’s defense failing to adjust to Virginia Tech when their QB simply either dimly handed off to the RB or kept it: with virtually no threat of the pass. Surprising that this happened on the NFL level, and in the Super Bowl no less

Wilcox's specialty is defense. His problem at Cal was he never had enough $$ to hire a good offensive coordinator. Cal always had good defense during his tenure.

Hawkins and Woodson have nothing to hang their heads about. They showed up Didn’t go their way.

At least it's not just Cal dealing with OL issues

Haven't seen a QB get buried this often since Justin Vedder.

normally I’d root for Seattle, but with two Bears on the Patriot, and Darnold on the Seahwks, and Brady and Belichwck gone, I’ll root for new England. I still remember the incessant Darnold hype from when he played Cal, and it still annoys me

Here’s hoping those two Patriot DB’s from CAL will get a pick or two from that QB from U$C!
