This Just In: Cal guard Joel Brown enters the Transfer Portal as a Grad Transfer
On to Greener Pastures for the 4 Year Guard
With the end of the season wrapping up in Las Vegas, there were questions about how the roster would shakeout with the inevitable coaching changes. The first decision has been made, as Joel Brown entered the portal as a graduate transfer.
California’s Joel Brown intends on entering the transfer portal as a graduate transfer, a source told @stockrisers. Averages nearly 7.5 points per game and over a steal. Three boards and three assists as well.
Brown averaged 7 points per game and 3.2 assists per game as the point guard for the Bears this season. Understandably it wasn’t the season anyone on the team wanted but you could never question Joel’s effort. He could get downhill, had solid vision, and could both push the pace and slow it down with relative control. He will have one year of eligibility for whichever school he chooses.
We thank Joel for his time representing the Blue and Gold and wish him well in his future!
a true warrior and bear
he made a major leap this year offensively, and has always been a lockdown defender
agree, he would prosper in a different scheme
congrats from graduating from Haas School of Business, and good luck
Best wishes, Joel.
