Oregon won their College Football Playoff opener against James Madison, but the defense struggled to close and Tosh Lupoi was not pleased afterward.

Now comes a much stiffer test against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders sport one of the most physical units in all of college football on both sides. It will not be an easy task to advance to the College Football Playoff semifinal, but we will see how Tosh and many of Cal’s future assistants will perform for Oregon.

Lupoi has been doing double duty preparing for his time at Cal, but he has made it clear that when the clocks turn off for gameplanning, he’s back to preparing for his future time in Berkeley.
