Evidently, one of the school presidents (unnamed) boasted that a professor (also unnamed) at his/her school analyzed the situation and concluded that the Pac ? was worth at least $50MM annually per school. That statement and ensuing conversation let to the $50MM each hard counter offer that caused the network to walk and the rest is history. Does anyone know which school president and professor came up with the SECish notion? These two as well as Georgie K should probably be added to the draw and quarter list. Since Golden Gate Fields has shut down there should be no shortage of horses available for hire.
