Washington State–Cal Football game moved to 1 p.m. PT on FOX

Despite a previous announcement that the Cal–Washington State game would be a 7:30 p.m. PT kick-off on FS1, the game has been moved to a 1 p.m. kick-off on FOX.

Though the Bears lose an opportunity for a #Pac12AfterDark game, the game will hopefully be less of a mess from a weather standpoint instead of forcing the Bay Area Bears to contend with potential freezing or inclement weather. This likely means that both teams will feel more comfortable passing the ball, meaning Cal fans will likely see the Wazzu run and shoot in action while the Cal offense can target the youth at all positions of the Wazzu defense rather than being forced to focus on the run.
