The California Golden Bears are looking forward to starting their season with a decisive victory against the Nevada Wolf Pack at FTX Field at California Memorial Stadium this Saturday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m. Pacific.

Last season, California posted a 1-3 record in the Pac-12 Conference and had four games canceled because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Finally, returning starting quarterback Chase Garbers and the rest of the Golden Bears will have a full season to showcase their talents and prove their mettle.

The Nevada Wolf Pack, which had a winning 7-2 record in the Mountain West Conference last season, will look to spoil California's 87-46-5 winning record in season-opening games.

Notably, among the four Mountain West v. Pac-12 Conference match-ups this Saturday, California is the only Pac-12 team picked by Las Vegas oddsmakers to win by only one score.

Earlier this week, oddsmakers set the betting line as California -3 with a 52.5 total. The California Golden Bears are the favorite against the Nevada Wolf Pack by three points at home in Week One of the 2021 college football season.
