Scoreline: Cal wins 27-24
Cal either wins in a blowout, or loses to some weird Beaver away game magic, there's no in between... and that's why I am confidently predicting a 27-24 Cal victory. JKS shows some flashes of serious talent along with some freshman growing pains. We also learn that Cal will have to lean heavily on a talented defense for the 37th Wilcox season.

Scoreline: Cal wins 55-17
Run it. #Drop50 is back on the menu lads.

Scoreline: Cal wins 24-21
This game scares the living soul out of me. I do believe Cal has the better talent and trenches but I do have Corvallis PTSD right in my mind. It’s a lot to ask for a lot in a hostile environment given that it’s week 1. Just win and get out of there.

Scoreline: Cal wins 35-14
JKS is the next coming of Jared Goff
Berkelium97
Scoreline: Cal loses 28-30
Cal misses a field goal as time expires and suffers yet another excruciating loss in Corvallis. Because nothing changes, short-term or long-term, for this team...

Scoreline: Cal wins 24-10
All eyes are going to be on Jaron, but a WR is gonna have himself a game. Won’t be without some heartburn but Cal walks out of Reser with a W.
Nick Kranz
Scoreline: Cal wins 24-16
I have NO earthly idea what Cal's offense will do, but I do feel confident that the Cal defense will be the best single unit on the field, and that will be enough for Cal to win.
Jesse Miller-Gordon
Scoreline: Cal wins 17-14
I think it will be closer than Cal fans would like but ultimately we break a big play or two that gets the job done
Rex Volcano
Scoreline: Cal wins 31-23
Cal’s rebuilt offensive and defensive lines are the difference. Despite a few Freshman QB making his first true start on the road moments, JKS moves the offense and several WRs make big plays. Oregon State’s veteran playmakers (especially Hankerson) keep the score respectable, but Cal puts this one away in the second half with a defensive TD
Bentpawn (Don)
Scoreline: Cal wins 24-17
Uglyish game from both teams. Cals RBs are effective catching swing passes out of the backfield and account for all Cal TDs.
Ruey Yen
Scoreline: Cal wins 31-27
Cal defense capitalizes on an Oregon State mistake to clinch the win.

With all due respect to Berkelium97, if you can't be optimistic about the least well-known Cal team in recent history before they've played even one game, then it must be 50-50 if the sun rises tomorrow.
OSU has been relegated, their players are a tick down from the average guy playing in the power 4 conferences. Cal's NIL has stepped up, we have some beef & talent on the lines. We'll start conservatively and run the ball a lot. When they move up to stop the run, look out. We will make mistakes for sure, but this time the margin will be large enough so that they do not determine the outcome of the game. Cal 38-15.
My prediction is the Sooners and Hoosiers lose. Bears win.
