Welcome to our weekly predictions post from our writers. You’ll see what they expect the score to be and any wacky or rational predictions they expect to see in each game!

Scoreline: Cal wins 67-10
I had a really bold prediction before the season that Cal would win by 67, but after the JMU game, it's not so bold anymore. There's definitely going to be some defensive TDs and special teams (punt/kick return) TDs in there, but hopefully things will start clicking for the offense.

Scoreline: Cal wins 65-14
Bears jump out to big lead, give up one touchdown in the first and another in the second. Kingston Lopa has another big day.

Scoreline: Cal wins 66-7
If Cal's offense cannot muster 50+ points against this team, we are in a world of pain for the rest of the season. This is a TURRIBLE FCS team (see last week's 87-3 loss to JMU).

Scoreline: Cal wins 56-7
Not sure what we’re going to learn from this game, but man I hope they come out screaming and put this one away in the first quarter.
Nick Kranz
Scoreline: Cal wins 59-8
Pretty much the only thing I'm interested in, and how many points Cal scores doesn't really factor in: What does Cal's offense look like? Do we try a bunch of new stuff to try to find answers? Focus on base plays? Expand the rotation in a search for future contributors?

Scoreline: Cal wins 49-10
Cal's Offense has the freedom to figure out the kinks in play calling and get some stress free reps at improvement. We jump out to an early lead in contrast to the Wilcox Era and the most notable takeaway from the day will be the Train concert.

Scoreline: Cal wins 63-0
Anything short of a 50 point win is a point of concern, any points scored before our 3rd string is on the field is also a point of concern. This is the nature of playing minnows, style points will matter than the W or L.
