ACC Year 3. JKS Year 2. Tosh Year 1.
Dark Horse Season?

Season Prediction: 10-2
Let’s dream big. At this point why not right? No point in aiming for what keeps floating. We need lofty goals and we need to try and reach them. Otherwise what are we doing? Undefeated in conference play. ACC Title Game Berth. I hear Charlotte is a nice place in December.

Season Prediction: 8-4
There is going to be a game or two we should be losing and we win and vice versa. However, the season will deliver the necessary highs to get excited for 2027 where all the chips will be on the table.

Season Prediction: 9-3
The first year of the alignment era at Cal will be a solid success. Beating UCLA and Clemson at home and a big road upset at SMU will highlight the best year in Berkeley since the aughts. The prolonged road stretch in the middle of the season will cause us to stumble a bit, but we will be ranked at the end of the year.

Season Prediction: 8-4
Cal Football gets back to the top-25 ranking with a strong start to the season (6-1). The Friday night UNC at Cal national game turns into a College Game Day-lite.

Most of the country is still sleeping on Cal, although a couple true ball-knowers out there have recognized that we have a future #1 overall NFL pick at QB. Optimism is high, and I think Cal has a higher ceiling this year, but it wouldn't be Cal without a couple head-scratching losses out of nowhere. Hopefully Cal stays healthy and stays in the running for an ACC title berth, but barring historic chaos in conference play like last year, there's really not a lot of room for error with so many teams in the conference vying for so few spots. I could see Cal having two conference losses and finishing 3rd in the conference standings for instance, but I think this year is a stepping stone to bigger things in 2027.

Season Prediction: 7-5
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Cal could win 5 or 9 and I wouldn't really be surprised. The variance in outcomes is huge at this point because we have so many unknowns heading into the season.

Season Prediction: 10-2
Cal is going to look like a brand new juggernaut, with JKS leading a new high powered offense. Cal will take losses against Clemson & Virginia Tech, then go perfect the rest of the way and end the season ranked.

Season Prediction: 9-3
Cal gets through September 3-1, October 3-2, and November 3-0, recruits like hell, and 2027 gets special really quick.

Season Prediction: 7-5
Alot of 42-28 games, with Cal on both sides of the outcome.

Season Prediction: 10-3
Cal managed several impressive wins last season against tough opponents but several discouraging losses against teams we should have beat. In a new era, I believe that assuming the team stays healthy, and our offense take steps forward, I see us performing more consistently based on opponents expectations. Despite growing pains, I see us getting a close edge in a fairly favorable opening slate of games and starting 5-0, before running into trouble with a revamped James Franklin-led Virginia Tech team. Following that, the team will run into tough slates on the road against SMU and Virginia before coming back home and finishing strong. Depending on how the ACC shakes up, Cal could be a darkhorse contender for the conference title. If not, I would hope enough of our stars don’t sit out the bowl

If this team can stay healthy it will be among the top of the ACC and hopefully ranked at some point during the season. There is a more hopeful outlook for the future of Cal football than there has been in some time, and it's warranted. I'm not sure if this will be the true breakthrough 10 win year but it could be.

last year we had so many close games... that we could have one if JKS had more offensive weapons and we had a running game...
wait both are better this year?
let's GOOOOOOO
