Cal Men's Basketball players Marsalis Roberson and Obinna Anyanwu have entered the Transfer Portal

Another guard, another forward, Coach Madsen will have plenty of scholarships to work with

As Mark Madsen makes his transition to the recruiting trail for the 2023-2024 season, the amount of scholarships that he’s working with is becoming more clear. Sam Alajiki, Lars Thiemann, Joel Brown, Kuany Kuany, Jarred Hyder and now Marsalis Roberson along with Obinna Anyanwu have entered the transfer portal. This continues the mass roster turnover from the prior coaching administration, in the pursuit of bringing Cal basketball back to bigger heights.

Roberson and Anyanwu both came off the bench for the Bears and gave acceptable effort in their stints for Cal. Coach Madsen according to my math will have 5 scholarships to work with (I have not taken math since I was in high school so take this with a grain of salt) before the season starts, leaving him options aplenty.
