Cal Men’s Basketball secures Grad Transfer Point Guard

The Bears secured the transfer of Dejuan Clayton earlier this week. The Bears have now added two point guards this cycle after the loss of Jordan Shepherd and Makale Foreman.

Clayton averaged 15PPG and 5 assists per game for @CoppinMBB in 20-21 and was a First Team All MEAC selection. After missing the 21-22 season due to a shoulder injury, Clayton is now fully healthy and ready to provide backcourt depth for a @CalMBBall team looking for a leader! https://t.co/XTckhvoBbB

The 6-2 guard from Bowie, Maryland played 5 years for Coppin State before transferring to Hartford last season. Clayton played only two games for Hartford and missed the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
