Cal football lands the commitment of Brentwood OL Michael Klisiewicz
The California Golden Bears now have two offensive line commitments from the 2025 recruiting class.
The California Golden Bears landed their second offensive line commitment of the class, and this one is a local prospect. Brentwood offensive tackle Michael Klisiewicz has verballed to the Bears, joining Ben Howard. After taking his visit this past weekend, the future big bear from Liberty High picked Cal over Washington State, San Diego State and Fresno State.
From his Instagram commitment:
I am excited to announce that I am 100% committed to Cal Berkeley. I would like to thank my Parents for being there every step of the way. I would also like to thank my coaches and teammates for pushing me everyday making me stronger. Big thanks to the Cal coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity.
Brandon Huffman of 247Sports had this to say about where Klisiewicz scouts out.
With size, frame and length that college coaches covet, Klisiewicz is a nice local prospect who gives the Bears an optimal right tackle body, but with the ability to play left tackle as well. Every bit 6-5, 300-pounds with a 33.5 inch arm and 80-inch wing, Klisiewicz might not be done growing yet either.
His junior tape highlights from Hudl not only his strength but his fast feet in the open field when run blocking. It’s pretty clear why offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Mike Bloesch likes what he sees from Klisiewicz as a prospect. If he develops properly, he could be ready to go very quickly on a two deep from the moment he walks in the door at Berkeley.
Welcome to Cal, Michael! Go Bears!
We should be able to get most of the local talent. Welcome to Cal 🙏
