I’m not sure how much publicity it’s getting nationally, but a group of Buddhist monks is on a 2,300 mile Walk for Peace from Ft. Worth to DC. They’re passing by a couple miles from me later this afternoon and I’m going by to watch. They have been drawing hundreds if not thousands of supporters in recent days. Tomorrow morning they pass into DC and stop at National Cathedral before walking down embassy row and finishing the afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial. I’ll probably try to go to one or two spots tomorrow.
