Late 80's I did contract forestry work on a PNW Indian reservation. Could not help but get in tune with life on rez. There was a tribal policeman they called "Shogun". Now, he happened to be of Japanese descent. I asked why they him called that. "Well, it's really "show gun" because when he first started he pulled his gun too often on routine stops.
