Erin Cafaro is a highly accomplished American rower, celebrated for her remarkable success on the international stage. She is UC Berkeley class of 2006 graduate and was inducted into the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021. A two-time Olympic gold medalist, Cafaro was a key member of the U.S. women's eight crew that triumphed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and again at the 2012 London Olympics. Her illustrious career also includes multiple World Championship titles, notably winning gold in both the women's pair and eight in 2009. After retiring from competitive rowing, Cafaro transitioned into coaching and has explored work in sports performance and clinical psychology. She is currently a clinical psychology doctoral candidate at UCLA’s Semmel Institute.
