Arizona State transfer guard Frankie Collins lists Cal basketball in his top six
It's looking like Arizona State, TCU, SMU, San Diego State, Florida and Cal for Collins.
Andrej Stojaković visiting isn’t the only Cal basketball news from the weekend!
On3 reports that Arizona State transfer guard Frankie Collins has six schools in mind for his next home: The TCU Horned Frogs, the SMU Mustangs, the San Diego State Aztecs, the Florida Gators, the California Golden Bears, or a return back to Arizona State.
Collins averaged 2.6 steals per game, along with 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists this season. He made the All Pac-12 Defensive team and would fit nicely with the Mad Dog mentality Madsen wants to bring to Haas Pavilion. With no guards with significant experience on the roster, Collins would almost certainly get a starting role.
Collins’s first two visits will be to TCU and SMU in the coming weeks. No visit to Cal has been scheduled as of yet, but Mark Madsen and the Cal coaching staff have been in touch.
