Rytis Petraitis to decide between Cal and Texas this weekend
Another big domino could fall soon.
The California Golden Bears are looking for a bona fide star in this class, and Rytis Petraitis would fit the bill. The Air Force transfer forward has the California Golden Bears and the Texas Longhorns in his sights as his final two. Jamie Shaw with On3 had the initial report.
Air Force transfer Rytis Petraitis tells On3Sports he will make a college choice this weekend. His final two are Texas and Cal. The 6-7 forward averaged 15.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. From Arlington, Texas
Here’s a look at his scouting profile.
Petraitis averaged 15.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game last year with the Falcons. He also averaged nearly a block a game (0.9) and 1.6 steals and got to the charity stripe at an exceptional rate (6.3 free throw attempts a game). Those are top-two option numbers on a Power 5 college basketball team
Cal has already landed one major target in Andrej Stojakovic this weekend. If Mark Madsen can land another, the Bears will have gone a long way toward restocking and improving this basketball squad after an already impressive one year stint of improvement.
Keep an eye out for news here Bears!
It’s so suspenseful. Because these fellows are truly special !!!
We'd be ACC-ready with him and Andrej. But to even be on the radar just a year out from disaster makes me so excited. In Mad Dog we trust.
