San Mateo edge rusher Odera Okaka commits to Cal
One of the best junior college edge rushers out there is a California Golden Bear.
Cal has been looking for immediate pass rush help, and a new local junior college recruit provides just that on Early National Signing Day. San Mateo CC edge Odera Okaka is coming to the California Golden Bears. Cal beats out other major offers from programs like Mississippi State, West Virginia and Boise State.
Okaka is ranked the number one junior college edge by 247Sports Composite, and the 3rd best California prospect. Okaka also made the Dean's List at the College of San Mateo, so the academic bona fides are all on display to transfer to Berkeley. He will have three seasons to play two.
