5:20 AM: CB Kaden Cook from Texas is first in the door! He committed way back in September 2023. Check out more of his highlights from Hudl.

6:33 AM: LB Beckham Barney from Arizona is next up! Here’s our original commitment post. More of his highlights on Hudl.

Via Rivals:

“A multi-sport athlete (baseball, football), Barney will add some versatility to the inside linebacker class with his ability to play multiple positions on the inside.”

Barney also played both ways last season.

Scouting report via 247Sports:

[Howard] does have tackle length with close an 80” wingspan and moves well. He’s a strong kid, physical at the point of attack and is a finisher. He moves well laterally and shows the ability to slide, kick step and get out on speed rushers but is probably more advanced as a run blocker right now. His wide frame, feet and balance should allow him to make a smooth transition to guard at the next level and he projects as an easy Power 4 prospect

San Mateo edge rusher Odera Okaka commits to Cal

Cal has been looking for immediate pass rush help, and a new local junior college recruit provides just that on Early National Signing Day. San Mateo CC edge Odera Okaka is coming to the California Golden Bears. Cal beats out other major offers from programs like Mississippi State, West Virginia and Boise State.
