Cal Football 2026 Signee: Tight End Sosaia Noa
The California Golden Bears have been very active at Grant High School to close out their class.
There was one last National Signing Day commit from the greater Sacramento area for the California Golden Bears. Welcome to Sosaia Noa!
Noa was primarily scouted as an edge, but did play tight end in college, and at 6-3 and 205 has that tight end size. His Hudl highlights on both offense and defense are here.
A lot of the early recruiting action for the Bears under Tosh Lupoi has originated from Grant High. Offensive lineman Roger Vanderhoef was also a late 2026 addition, and defensive lineman Giovanni Hodge became the first 2027 commit.
Noa becomes the second tight end in the 2026 Cal football recruiting class, joining Taimane Purcell. The Bears also landed Dorian Thomas and Rico Walker from the portal. With Mason Mini also returning, the Bears will have a fairly full tight end room next season.

Tosh = relentless.
The je ne sais quoi we have been missing for so many years. The mercilous pursuit of success. I can do nothing but admire that ethic.
Along with Grant, get guys from Folsom and Rocklin. Go BEARS
